Frequently asked questions

Quoting, delivery & how we work

Answers to what clients most often ask before requesting a quote. Can’t find what you need? Ask us directly →

How do I request a quote?

Use the Request a quote form, browse Products and add the items you need, or call or WhatsApp us directly. We reply within one business day with a reference number.

How long is a quotation valid for?

Formal quotations are typically valid for 14 to 45 days from the date on the quotation, as stated on each one. For tenders and RFQs we follow the validity period set out in the solicitation document.

What are your payment terms?

Standard terms are payment within 30 days of certified delivery (against a Goods Received Note), unless a different schedule is agreed in the contract. Framework and tender contracts follow the payment terms in the signed agreement.

What are your delivery times?

Ex-stock items in Lusaka are typically delivered within about 7 to 10 business days of a confirmed order. Sourced or made-to-order items take longer — we confirm a firm delivery date on the quotation and, for tenders, in the delivery schedule.

Do supplied products carry a warranty?

Yes. Products we supply are warrantied for 12 months against manufacturing defects.

Which areas of Zambia do you cover?

We work across all 10 provinces of Zambia. Our head office is in Lusaka, with branch offices in Choma (Southern Province) and Solwezi (North-Western Province). See About us for details.

Do you work on public tenders and framework contracts?

Yes. We respond to RFQs, EOIs and formal tenders, and have delivered work under framework and call-off contracts for utilities, telecom operators and other public and private clients.

Can you quote against our own BOQ or technical specification?

Yes. Send us your bill of quantities or technical schedule and we will return a compliant, itemised quotation.

Do you only supply equipment, or do you install it too?

Both. Most of our work is supply and installation under one contract, from route survey through to as-built drawings and handover documentation — see Services for the full process.

Can I hire equipment or plant for a short-term job?

Ask us. Tools and plant such as compressors, generators and cable-pulling machines are available to supply or hire, confirmed at quotation. See Tools & equipment →.
